Discuss comprehensively the concept of Leadership

Leadership is a important function of management which help to maximize efficiency and to achieve
organazition goals.Line manager must have traits of a leader they must posses leadership qualities.The
leadership in the organization is to meet the three challenges.the First challenge is to provide a shared
vision of where the organization is heading and what it's purpose is the second chanllege is to set
strategic vision and directional course vision and directional course into specific performance outcomes
for each key area which leaders deem important for success.

2 Dentify the factors or leadership and briefly discuss each other

FOLLOWER-different people require different styles of leadership for example a new hire requires more
supervision than an experienced employee.

LEADER- you must have a honest understanding of who you are what you know and what you can do
also note that is the followers not the leader who determine if a leader is successful.

COMMUNICATION- you lead through two way communication much of it is non-verbal

SITUATION- all are different what you do in one situation will not the best course or action and the
leadership style needed for each situation

LEADER has vision and goals for the future they become game changers good leadership inspires

MANAGER will go according to the direction of the leadership they execute the leader ideas and

ideas by coordinating the workforce together.

A.PLANNING-involves edentifting responsibilities to be performed grouping responsibilities into


department of division and specifying organizational relationships.

B.ORGANIZING-the purpose is to achieve coordinated effort among all the elements in the manangemnt.

C.DIRECTING-is leading people in a manner that achieves the goals of the organizations.this involves
proper allocation of resources and providing an effective support system.

D.CONTROLING- Is a function that evaluates in all areas and detects potential or actual deviations from
the organization

ADMINISTRATION- is the process activity of running a business,organization and MANAGEMENT is the


process of dealing with people.
