1 Bidirectional LIS function

Bidirectional Lis function is off by default. Find Settings-Transmit-Connect Lis to

chose Enable bothway Lis when it’s HL7 protocol, shown in the figure：

It is important to note that this feature only takes effect when the protocol is HL7, other
protocols do not support it. The bidirectional LIS protocol of the software follows the
internationally accepted HL7 agreement, and the specific process is shown as follows:

1.1 Bidirectional LIS communication example

The simple flow of bidirectional communication is shown in the figure below

When the instrument scans the bar code, it will send an inquiry message to LIS with the
bar code ID:

The LIS will return QCK ^ Q02 message as a reply, if the response has a
corresponding sample, the message is:

If not, the massage is：

When the LIS server has a corresponding sample cases, will return the query
response QCK ^ Q02, then send data messages DSR ^ Q03, as shown in the figure below:

 Date of birth must be like: yyyyMMddHHmmss。
In analysis mode，cbc^^^means cbc mode，cbc^5diff^^means cbc+5diff mode.
If it send a massage for no corresponding sample QCK ^ Q02, don't have to send the
DSR massage.
After receiving the DSR message, the instrument will reply to confirm that the
message like:

This is an example of a complete bidirectional LIS communication.

2 Attentions

1、 When the bidirectional LIS function is turned on, if the instrument cannot get the
sample information due to unexpected errors (such as LIS suddenly dropped,
and the scanner cannot scan the bar code number, etc.), the instrument will
automatically suspend until the sample information is obtained.
2、 How to get sample information: open the multi-sample status diagram window,
click the corresponding test tube, and a detailed test tube information window will
pop up, and then click the "get information again" button to get the sample
information, as shown in the figure:

3、Samples that have obtained sample information cannot be re-obtained.
