Banerjee Road Kolkata- 700 013 Date: 40/09/2022 Municipal Commissioner’s Office Order No. of 2022-23 Sub: Processing of different categorized files related to works contract with revised financial involvement incurred due to enhanced rate of GST Large numbers of individual files are being put up for fresh approval on the Proposals that have already been approved earlier. The fresh approval being sought merely ‘on account of increasfég in cost in terms of revision of GST rate from 12% to 18%. In this respect already detailed discussion has been done in presence of Spl. Mpl. Commissioner (Revenue), CMF&A and all DGs. The revision of rate has been notified by the Government and no policy decision is required to be taken by the KMC. Thus, there is no need for approval from the Municipal Commissioner. The Controlling Officers are directed to process the files related to enhancement of s per notified rate at their ends. Distribution: (1) Spl. Mpl.
