MMI Functions Pairing Cell Phone to Bluetooth™ System
Depend ing on your cell phone you can pair your phone using Secure Simple Pairing or
standard pairing.
Simple Secure Pairing (SSP)
• Vehicle must be stationary with ignition on. Bluetooth system will be visible for 5 minutes.
• Press the ~ function button on the MMI.
• Select the "Search for new cell phone" menu item and confirm.
• Select your Bluetooth cell phone in the display and confirm.
• Select the "Handsfree" menu item and confirm your selection.
Driver assistance systems • Select "Yes" to confirm the 6 digit PIN matching the cell phone display.
Use the button ~ to adjust or operate • Select PAIR on the phone to complete pairing.
