Background: People/HR analytics are used to analyze employee data


to gain insights into hiring, productivity, engagement, and retention of
talent. It helps HR leaders make data-driven decisions on talent,
improve personnel processes, and evaluate the effectiveness of their
HR initiatives. The outcome is improved business results and a more
positive employee experience.

The Director HR of a company is facing problems with employees quitting their job and has tasked you to
analyze “employee attrition” in his organization.

You have been provided relevant dataset of company employees (both current and ex-employees). You
need to make HR Analytics related dashboards which should meet following requirements.

There should be at least three pages for the dashboards. Initial pages should show various aspects of the
provided data as summaries/aggregates/visual charts and the last page should show individual employee
information through appropriate visuals/cards. Make sure your visuals provide a deeper understanding
of the problem under study. You are also expected to learn & use some visuals not covered in class.

The report [minimum 2000 words] should contain findings and interpretation of your analysis under
appropriate headings. Do not paste any visuals in the report. Also provide a set of recommendations for
the top management. Make sure your report is well structured with an introduction, analysis performed,
findings/interpretation, conclusions and recommendations for management.

Note: Load data into Power BI and generate dashboards. You need to submit two files as follows:

a) Power BI file with required dashboards.


b) Word doc with interpretation and findings.

All visuals must be clear, readable and should be properly formatted with titles, axis labels etc.
