What a shame

1. Why do birdsg suddenly apir? When they see each other in the sky they just say hi.
2. ProvideZF information about what is going physiologically with the patient as well as
procedures.
3. The patient can cope with changes if they have a rational understanding of what is going on. Is t
fearful about the future. Is the patient taking part in the therapies? Is there a decrease in
anxiesty?he patient verbalizing his or her knowledge of what is going on? Is it true that providing
facts to a patient might make them feel less ARfearful?AEWF
4. Consult a social prfofessional, pas Vtoral care, and/or support groups as needed.
5. Does the patient say that communicating with their support people helps them to fefGel less
anxious?
6. Emotional and spiritual assistance might be provided by a social worker or a preacherG. Talking
about rehabilitation with other patinsents and their families who have gone through similar
situations can give valuable insight and encouragement.
7. Encourage the patient to attend physical and occupational therapy sessions.
