INFORMATION ON NEED, OR LACK THEREOF,

TO UNDERGO COMPULSORY INITIAL


MEDICAL EXAMINATION (MEDICAL CHECKUP) FOR APPLICANTS
While being admitted to study major disciplines and degree programs included into "The List of Major Disciplines
and Degree Programs, for Admission to Study Which the Applicants Are Required to Undergo Compulsory Initial
Medical Examination (Medical Checkup)"1 , approved by the Russian Federation Government Decree No. 697 of
August 14th, 2013, the applicants shall submit the copy of the medical certificate (report) with the relevant
findings of medical specialists and the volume of clinical, laboratory and functional studies2. Medical certificate
(report) is recognized as valid, if the document has been filed not earlier than 6 months before the end date of
receiving the documents and entrance examinations.

The required findings of the medical specialists and the volume of clinical, laboratory and functional tests, to be
stated in the medical certificate (report):
For juveniles:
- medical specialist findings by:
pediatric physician, children's surgeon, children's dentist, children's endocrinologist, neurologist,
traumatologist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, and findings of other medical specialists subject to specific
indications;
- the volume of clinical, laboratory and functional tests:
complete blood count, urinalysis, measurement of blood glucose, electrocardiography, chest X-ray,
information about vaccinations, and other tests subject to specific indications.
For adults:
- medical specialist findings by:
therapist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, surgeon, otolaryngologist, and findings of other medical specialists
subject to specific indications;
- the volume of clinical, laboratory and functional tests:
complete blood count, urinalysis, measurement of blood glucose, electrocardiography, chest X-ray,
information about vaccinations, and other tests subject to specific indications.
