Many footballers, mostly the young ones, are promised success in their footballing careers.

Instead, many of them are often abandoned and left in irregular situations. African
footballers, who are drawn to European media clubs, often face challenges such as identity
fraud, extortion, and illegal migration. These realities are a common part of their experience.

As a guardian for the young footballers, the Council for Young Footballers of Guinea
(COJEFOG), a non-profit organisation, intends to stop that. Established around Oumar
DOUMBOUYA, a former footballer, we plan to keep a keen eye on different levels, including
school and sports, families, professional clubs, and agents.

Our main objective is to protect young players, ages 13 and older, against illegal migration
and guide them through what they want. We want to help them create a secure future by
urging caution when it comes to player transfers.

At our organisation, we not only strive for excellence in sports but also prioritise building a
strong and supportive community. Our sporting vocation drives us to constantly improve and
compete, while our social vocation encourages us to foster meaningful connections and
create a welcoming atmosphere.

We hope that through our efforts, young African players won't have to face extortion.
Together, we can create a safe and fair environment for all players to thrive.
