Answer the following question. Expand your answers.
1) Will we use technology to support teaching and learning? how? What
are the goals?
We use the technology as a daily routine in a classroom and this resource
is a helpful tool at the moment to present a new subject or in the case to
do activities inside of classroom, the technology that teachers use is not
only a computer or cellphone, also is the board on the wall or the objects
that we can use in a class with the objective to help to students to
understand in a better way.
2) How will we measure student understanding?
When we want to measure the learning in students, we have to do an
assessment as a formal evaluation and informal evaluation that helps the
teacher know the weakness and the strength in the students and take the
correct measures in the learning process.
3) Are we designing authentic tasks for students? Example.
In a class it is necessary that students make authentics tasks, because
that reinforces the new subject that students have already seen with the
professor.
For example: if the teacher teaches the passive voice it is necessary that
he give an assessment to reinforce the passive voice and then the
students can ask questions about the topic.
4) Do you have a plan for when students don’t learn?
first step: I will do a diagnostic test, I have to see what things the
students need to reinforce.
Second step: By the time I will get their answers, I’m looking for ways to
teach the topic, for example activities , sheets, role-play, listening, etc.
and I choose one according to the level of students.
Third step: I explain what I will do and then do different activities when
students make questions about the topic.
Fourth step: I make sure that students learn and ask them if they can
provide a summary of the topic that I teach.
5) What is my role in supporting students with learning problems?
My role during the learning process is mediator,because when the
students have questions and doubts, we as a teacher have enough
knowledge to answer all these questions and can be a significant learner.
6) Do teachers have the opportunity to provide ongoing feedback?
Teachers always can provide ongoing feedback, because the students
learn from the mistakes and they see in what things they have difficulties
learning, so it is a positive factor that helps students to learn.
