qualified candidates to fill the position of:

TAX COORDINATOR

VACANCY: TAX
COORDINATOR
COMPANY:  CARIB CEMENT– KINGSTON,
JAMAICA
Objective: Management, monitoring, and
enforcement of tax obligations of Cemex and
its related companies. Advising the areas of
business, planning strategically on projects that
a!ect tax obligations and representing the
company before governmental and non-
governmental institutions in tax matters.
Comply with the policies and procedures of the
Integrated Management System.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

Convert requisitions to purchase orders.
Management and oversight of all tax returns,
monthly, annual, and special.
Coordinate and/or prepare requests for
information received from the tax authorities (Tax
Administration) regarding tax issues, notifications,
inconsistencies, or special requirements.
Manage, administer, and coordinate all matters
relating to visits of internal/external auditors or
personnel relating to tax information.
 Monitor and control applications for refund of
credit balances, tax breaks or other incentives that
positively impact the business.
Coordination and supervision of all information
requests received from tax authorities and
preparation of tax returns corresponding to tax.
Coordination and control for the special reports
relating to transfer pricing (PT study and A!davit),
general consumption tax, company tax, etc.
Control administrative processes that collect
accounting information must report annually to
the Internal Revenue Department.

REQUIRED
EDUCATION/EXPERTISE/SKILLS:
BSc in Accounting/ Finance.
Tax Accounting as a minor
Specialization in Tax Laws
Continuous updating in the tax regulations
Analytical Thinking
Strategic Thinking
Interpretation and numerical analysis
Leadership

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Three years in Tax Accounting and/or Auditing
experience
Working in the finance in a similar position
