    What is the importance of Nautical publications and the Logbook.

    Nautical publications are a technical term used to describe a set of maritime circles.
    Publications, issued either by national governments or commercial and technical publications
    Organizations for the use of ships, boats, and related vessels in safe navigation. Additional
    publications
    Themes such as seamanship and cargo operations may be addressed. The United Kingdom in the UK
    The Witherby Publishing Company, the Hydrographic Office and the Nautical Institute provide the
    Numerous publications on navigation, including maps, how to navigate, and publications
    Publications concerning passage preparation. [1][2] In the US, publications are issued by the US
    government and US Coast Guard.

    The marine environment is subject to regular change and the latest publications should always
    be used, particularly when passage planning.

    The Deck Log Book is a valuable paper and acts as the requisite proof in the event of any
    Casualties and Injuries. It must include in each entry Factual Entries with Time. Logbooks, likewise,
    Chronological entries describing the everyday operations of a merchant ship are referred to as
    Captain's Logs or Deck Logs.
