NEEDS AND PROBLEMS

◆ It needs an improved visibility at night by means of street lighting lessens the strain on
driving and ensures safety.

◆ It is dangerous to travel at night because drivers cannot see where they are going and that
causes accidents.

◆ Drivers are at risk because they cannot clearly see to where they are going and this can lead
to accidents

PURPOSE
◆ This project aims to reduce the number of accidents in the area, more vision and safety for
the certain barangay

◆ It will help reduce road accidents and crime incident/ street crimes.

◆ Vision for the pedestrian, drivers and riders who will be passing by.

GOALS
◆ To reduce fear, crime and accidents on the road and for the people to have a better lighting.

◆ The residents living in this area can safely go outside.

◆ To help the people with weak eyesight to see the road clearly

OBJECTIVES
◆ To promote street safety to reduce or lessen the number of accidents and security to the
residents of the Barangay.

◆ To increase the visibility of the road in the area and enable the road users to see accurately

◆ To produce safe and convenient vision at night

PROCEDURES
◆ Define the problem
◆ Request a letter for project proposal addressing to Local Government Unit (LGU), Zamcelco,
DPWH.
◆ Submit a structured plan.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. It aimed to reduce accidents during nighttime.

2. It will take 6 months to accomplish the project

3. Local Government Units and Laborers will play an important role for this project

EVALUATION OF SUCCESS
◆ The first 6 months of the installation process will be tracked and tested
◆ Decrease in vehicular accidents for the first month of installation
