Dear, family 21

I hope this weekly letter finds all of you doing well. We celebrate a great feast in the church today - Pentecost. This
gift of the Holy Spirit from Jesus is yet another gift of his generosity given to us, the church, to carry-on, in Jesus'
name. The spirit of God that resides within all of us is an empowering gift that he asks us to use wisely, often, and
well. We are all called in a special way to build up the church and the kingdom in whatever way we can. I pray that
you are all filled with the spirit this feast day, and that you  celebrate that gift from our loving God!
 
A belated welcome to father, Aaron, OFM, who recently moved into Saint Columba Brigid, right off the heels of
his ordination to priesthood. We welcome him. We offer him our support in whatever way we can. Welcome,
Aaron!
