    INTRODUCTION
    Sentences in english can be in the active or passive
    voice. The majority of sentences are in the active
    voice.

    In active sentences, the subject is the agent or


    "doer" of the verb.

    We use the passive voice when we want to put


    emphasis on the action(verb) or person/thing that
    receives the action instead of on the agent or
    "doer"
