Research Methodology:-

(It must be written in past tense)

Participants & Procedure

Population and its suitability w.r.t your study variable
(First tell to whom you are targeting; target companies e.g banking sector, project
organizations) (why this sector is suitable for your study); don’t mention name of organization.

Sampling Technique
Convenience sampling, reason of choosing specific sampling technique

Sample size
250+ (useable)

Data Collection Methods

Questionnaire (details half fill via personal visit/ half through Google form). Total no.
distributed, received back, usable.

Reminders for enhancing response rate

Research Ethics
Confidentiality, anonymity, voluntary participation

Response Rate
Total usable/ distributed *100

Demographic details of respondents

% male, % female, %younger, older, % managers, officers, age, income, education level etc

Measures/ Scales/ Instruments used

All study variables have been measured using five point likert scale where 1 stands for strongly
disagree, 5 stand for strongly agree. We translated few items (if English is not native language).

IV (Organizational Justice): authors of scale, number of items, 1 sample item “sample item
should be in quotation mark” and cronbach alpha reliability coefficient

Mediating (PCB)
DV (Project success)

Sample Size Calculator

N= total no of elements in population

n=? sample size
e= error .05

Rule of 10 or 5
If there are 30 items, then multiply 30 with 10

What people are doing in surroundings (in research papers of other people)

Adapt is used either when a change is made to make something more suitable for a particular
use or when adjusting to a new place. Adopt is used when something is taken over, chosen,
accepted or approved by choice.

Content Validity

The extent to which a test measures a representative sample of the subject matter or behavior
under investigation (Panel of Experts)

For Example, liquidity ratio, readers can’t understand it if they are not of specialized field.

Time Lagged Technique- To reduce biasness/ errors

Reverse coded questions-

 “Strongly Agree” becomes 6 – 5 = 1.

 “Agree” becomes 6 – 4 = 2.
 “Neither Agree Nor Disagree” becomes 6 – 3 = 3.
 “Disagree” becomes 6 – 2 = 4.
 “Strongly Disagree” becomes 6 – 1 = 5.
