Parents with Uncompleted Basic Education Having Professional Children: A

Phenomenology of Parental Achievement
Purpose of the Study: You are being asked to participate in a study narrating your lived
experiences as a parent with uncompleted basic education having professional children.

Procedure and Duration: : You are being asked to participate in an interview. The whole
duration of the interview will be recorded and transcribed. Your participation is completely
voluntary. You may stop participating in this research anytime or choose not to answer any of the
questions.

Although disclosure of your identity is a possible risk, every precaution will be taken into
consideration to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of any records generated by this
research. Only the research teacher and the researchers will have access to the audiotapes of the
interviews and the transcripts. Without your permission, your name and any other identifying
information will not appear in any reports or documents that are published as a result of this
research project.

If you do not understand any portion of what you are asked to do or the contents of this form, the
researchers are available to provide a complete explanation. Questions are welcome anytime.

The undersigned are 3rd Year students of Bachelor of Science in Psychology of the Central
Philippine University, Lopez Jaena, Street, Jaro, Iloilo City for the school year 2022-2023.
Presently, we are conducting a research entitled “Parents with Uncompleted Basic Education
Having Professional Children: A Phenomenology of Parental Achievement”. The purpose of
this study is to explore the parents' hardships and experiences with unfulfilled basic education
and having professional children.

In view of this, we would like to invite you to participate in this research. Your participation in
this research is completely voluntary. All responses will be strictly confidential. Data from this
