Introduction:
A gas turbine is a rotary engine that extracts energy from a flow of combustion gases. Ambient
air is drawn into the engine intake where an axial or a centrifugal compressor (or both) increases
both the pressure and temperature of the air before feeding it into the combustion chamber.

Literature Review:
A jet gas turbine is a type of internal combustion engine that generates power by compressing air
and mixing it with fuel to create a high-speed, high-pressure gas that drives a turbine. The use of
jet gas turbines has become increasingly popular in recent years due to their efficiency,
reliability, and low emissions.(Tanaka, 2016)
One study conducted by researchers at the University of Cambridge found that the use of jet gas
turbines can significantly reduce carbon emissions in the aviation industry. The study also
highlighted the importance of ongoing research and development in this area to further improve
the performance and efficiency of jet gas turbines.(M.jia, 2019)
Another study published in the Journal of Engineering Gas Turbines and Power examined the
impact of different operating conditions on the performance of jet gas turbines. The study found
that changes in temperature, pressure, and fuel composition can have a significant impact on the
efficiency and emissions of these engines.(Scholz, 2018)
Overall, the literature suggests that jet gas turbines are a promising technology for reducing
carbon emissions and improving the efficiency or internal combustion engines. Ongoing research
and development in this area will be crucial for further improving the performance and
sustainability of these engines.
Objective:
• To design the jet gas turbine in Solid work.
• To analysis of jet gas turbine.(Efficiency)

Methodology:
Design and Modeling:
The whole project will be designed on solid works. The design, Assembly and modeling would
also be done through solid work.

Hidden Line Wire frame:

Analysis:
All the thermal properties of this project would be analyzed through solid work and theoratical
analysis.
17 ounces of jet fuel =0.48kg
1000 ounce of air =28.34kg
mixture =28.34 +0.48 =28.82kg
Inlet Section:
K.E = (28.82)(76.2)2 / 2
=83670.8004Kgm/s
Exhaust Section:
K.E = (28.82)(182.88)2 /2
= 481943.8103Kgm/s
efficiency of propler:
n = 2va/va+vf
= 2(76.2)/(76.2+182.88)
= 0.58 * 100
= 58%

Thrust of Jet Gas Engine:

Thrust = m (vf-va)
= (28.82)(182.88-76.2)
= 3074.5176Kgm/s

Recomendations:
If we have any problem during this software, we can use other more accurate software like
ANSYS SCADE and CREO, to get best possible results.

Result:
Kinetic Energy of Inlet section: 83670.8004Kgm/s
Kinetic Energy of Exhaust section: 481943.8103Kgm/s
Efficiency of Propler: 58%
Thrust Of Jet Gas Engine: 3074.5176Kgm/s
