Right femoral neck fracture
Child: Right side avascular necrosis of the femoral head epiphysis (perthe’s disease)
Smaller right femoral head epiphysis appear fragmented in a child
Child: Left femoral head AVN x-ray and MRI
Adult: Left side femoral head AVN
Left femoral head avascular necrosis involving the superior part
of the femoral head only
Right femoral head & neck transient osteoporosis
Transient osteoporosis of the right femoral head and neck
showed oedema signal on T1 & FAT SAT images
Left side total resorption of the femoral head (TB Arthritis)
