ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
To enrol in any course, a duly filled-out application form should be presented to the enrolment office. These forms are readily available at the reception area
and on our website.
Instituto Cervantes implements strict deadlines for each enrolment cycle. Late enrollees will not be entertained.
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted. We cannot guarantee that students and their former classmates will be placed
into the same batch if there are two sections of the same level running simultaneously.
No transactions may be made through phone calls.
The minimum age for enrolment in a general course is 16 years. The minor must submit a valid identity document (issued by the Government) as proof of age.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments may be made by Card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) Demand Draft, Bank Transfer, Cash.
In order to do a bank transfer, please:
1. Email a screenshot of the transfer receipt to cenndel@cervantes.es
2. In the email, DO mention the course details (start date, end date, timing, and level) and the name of the account holder and Student ID Number.
3. Transfers made without the afore-mentioned details will not be considered valid and the registration for such cases will not be done. Please bear in mind that
this method of payment might risk a confirmed seat in the selected course and batch, given that bank transfers take time to process.
4. DDs should be issued in favour of INSTITUTO CERVANTES - EMBASSY OF SPAIN and should be payable in New Delhi.
5. Only FULL payments will be accepted during the enrolment. Payment in instalments will not be accepted.
6. Payment with the exact amount will be much appreciated, to avoid hassle of change.
ACADEMIC SCHEDULES
Off-calendar General Language courses will not be arranged by the center.
Classes will not be postponed to accommodate late enrolments. Classes with less than the required number of students will be dissolved.
CANCELLATION OF CLASSES
Instituto Cervantes reserves the right to cancel a course with prior notice to the registered students if the minimum number of students required is not met.
Instituto Cervantes reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, whereupon registered students will be offered either an alternative
schedule for the same level until the academic year ends, or full refund of the fees paid.
COURSE MATERIAL
The books are sold at Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi in the bookshop on the ground floor. Teachers also provide handouts to the students and/or other
materials in order to reinforce the course contents.
The photocopying of course materials is strictly prohibited by the copyright laws of both countries.
REFUNDS
Tuition fees are refundable ONLY if Instituto Cervantes cancels the class due to an insufficient number of enroled students, or internal logistical issues.
Refunds will not be granted to students who abandon courses prematurely regardless of the circumstances.
Refunds will only be given upon presentation of the original “Justificante” & “Recibo de Matrícula” and a valid ID with photo and signature.
All refunds must be processed before the end of each academic year. Therefore for courses from July, 2022 to June, 2023 refunds must be settled by June
15th, 2023.
