Formatting Windows 10 in Oracle


VirtualBox allows you to perform a clean
installation of the operating system. This
step-by-step guide will walk you through the
process of formatting Windows 10 in Oracle
VirtualBox, ensuring a fresh start for your
virtual machine.
Formatting in Oracle is typically
performed during the initial setup of a
database or when modifying its structure or
storage configuration. It requires a deep

How to Format Windows 10 in Oracle

Needed:
 Oracle VirtualBox installed on your
computer.

 Windows 10 ISO file or installation.


 Sufficient storage space for the virtual
machine.

Prepare the Installation Media Obtain a


Windows 10 installation USB or DVD. If you
don't have one, download the official
Windows 10 ISO file from the Microsoft
website.
I. Create a Virtual Machine

1. Launch Oracle VirtualBox.


2. Click on "New" to create a new virtual
machine.

3. Provide a name for the virtual machine.


4. Select "Microsoft Windows" as the
operating system type.
5. Choose the appropriate version, such as
"Windows 10 64-bit".
6. Allocate the desired amount of memory
and storage for the virtual machine.
