SUBJECT: Release of New Electronic Controllers

Emerson is pleased to announce updates to the Electronic Unit Controller (EUC). These
changes will assure improved and more reliable electrical connections to the control, and
improved usability.

The time-out setting has been increased to 30 seconds from 15 seconds to allow more
time to make adjustments. This will prevent the control from exiting the programming
mode during short pauses.

The top green connector used for the transducer connection has been reinforced to
maintain a more secure connection.

Unused ¼ inch push-on terminals have been removed from all EUC controls. These
terminals are not used and cause extra force required to install the wire harness
connection.
