1. Contents of Change
The Slide Pack (made by THK) that has been adopted as the sliding mechanism part of the reagent tip
loader of the AIA-900 has small clearances between the sliding part and the both sides of the rail.
But in some cases, due to variability of the parts (especially of Slide pack), it may have taken a long
time for adjustments to have stable operations/alignment during the assembling work of the analyzer.
In order to have improved workability of production, the part (Slide Pack) has been changed to Roller
Pack (made by Pulton Chain), with which the clearances between the sliding part and the both sides of
the rail are smaller than the current clearances.

The purpose of this change is to have improved workability of production. However, this will also
contribute to stable and sure operation of the reagent tip loader.
For instruments which have already been installed, no adaptations will be needed since they have
been adjusted in the production process and passed the QC inspections.
