Employment The Employee agrees that during his employment, he will at al imes faithfully, industriously, and to the best of his skill, ability, experience and talents, perform all of the duties required of his po- sition and Project. In carrying out these duties and responsibilties, the Employee shall comply with all Company policies, procedures, rules and the Company announces regulations, both writ. ten and oral, as from time to time. It is also understood and agreed by the Employee that the Company in its sole discretion may change his assignment, duties and responsibilities and re- porting arrangements without causing termination of this Agreement. ‘You will perform your duties as a "Dy. As Employee on probation, you are not entitled to medical, bonus, end service benefits or any other benefits not mentioned in this agreement un- til permanent status. Furthermore, it is specified and mutually agreed that the temporary ‘employee will not be entitled to any benefits/prerequisites as mentioned in the employee manual of the company nor can seek any reliance whatsoever on the said employee man- val. Chief Engineer Electrical", you are required to perform your assigned duties and under- take the responsibilities and obligations in a professional manner for any assignment. Other du- ties may arise from time to time-related to any duty and may be assigned to the Employee. 3. Compensation ‘As full compensation including basic salary and all other allowances such as housing, transport and utilities, the Employee shall be paid a monthly remuneration of Gross amount PKR 300,000/month (Rupees Three Hundred Thousand per month only). Your category will be “B" Taxes are applicable as per the law of Pakistan and your next appraisal will be due on O1- January-2024. 4, Lea You are entitled to leave as per the employee manual of ILF Pakistan. 5. Termination In case your employment becomes permanent either the company or you may terminate this agreement by giving one month's notice or one month gross salary against the notice period. It's hereby agreed that the first three months of employment shall constitute a probationary peri ©d which may be extended by the company during which period the employer or the employee may, in its absolute discretion, terminate the Employment agreement, for any reason without cause by giving a prior notice period of two weeks or two weeks gross salary. The Employee agrees to return any property of the Company at the time of termination in the same condition as handed over. Any breach of the Company's policy will lead to immediate termination. 6. Confidentiality 6.1 The Employee is required to maintain an appropriate standard of confidentiality. Any disclo- sures of confidential information (including personal information kept on computer or other media) made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disci. plinary offence. 6.2 The Employee disclosing confidential records or information to any unauthorised person or persons will render the Employee Manuel subject to disciplinary action, which may result in dismissal and/or appropriate legal action if such disclosure has taken place after the termina tion of the employment. 6.3 All documents, data, reports, drawings and designs prepared or received by the Employee during the employment duration will be used solely for the performance of the duties of the Company and will remain the property of the Company and will be returned to the Company if'and when required before or at the time of the end of employment Contract. 7. Covenant Not to Compete You agree that at no time during the term of your employment with the Company will you engage in any business activity which is competitive with the Company nor work for any company which competes with the Company. Dispute Resolution In case of any dispute which may erise during the duration or after this Agreement, it will be re- solved only through arbitration as per the Arbitration Act 1940. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan Severability ‘The parties hereto agree that in the event any article or part thereof of this agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid then said article or part shall be struck and all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
