    ACTIVITY: QUESTION FOR REFLECTION

    1. Is there something unusual about the pace and nature of technological change today?
    Should we be more worried about the world we are creating?

    I believe that by examining both the positive and negative effects of technological
    progress, we can find a way to deal with the negative effects while utilizing the positive
    effects to advance the growth we desire. The development of new technologies is
    necessary to keep up with technological change, which involves research and
    development. The performance and efficiency of the production process are also
    impacted by technological progress.

    Although we should be concerned about the positive aspects of technological


    change, along the way it also provides an opportunity for other aspects to be more
    intrusive, we can also see technological change as a way of learning, an increase in
    productivity and efficiency, the removal of geographical barriers, and many more. It
    appears that how we live in the world we are currently building has undergone significant
    alteration. The world appears to be more active online, which promotes addiction,
    intrusive privacy invasion, dehumanization, moral quandaries, addiction, and pollution
    brought on by technology.

    Having technological knowledge and proficiency is essential in a world where


    technology permeates every aspect of our everyday lives. This will enable you to adopt a
    critical and pragmatic perspective on emerging technologies. Therefore, the only way to
    empower yourself and effectively use and benefit from technology advancements is
    through lifelong learning. According to Banco Santander there are three fundamental
    concepts to enhance employability: lifelong learning, reskilling, and upskilling. With this
    objective in mind and to assist people in progressing, overcoming the obstacles given by
    the fourth industrial revolution and growing in an inclusive and sustainable way, Banco
    Santander is devoted to these concepts.
