Design of a Dead Weight Gage Tester

A dead weight gage tester is to be designed to calibrate a bourdon gage in increments of 5 pound per square
inches. Calculate the thickness (in millimeters) of the steel counter weight to accomplish this.

Piston:

Weight = weightless

Diameter = 12 mm

Counter Weight:

Steel = 7.85 g/cubic centimeter (density)

Outside Diameter = 100 mm

Inside Diameter = 60 mm

Thickness = required
