This document recommends visiting Chiapa de Corzo, a peaceful colonial town in Chiapas, Mexico. It has many historical buildings to visit like La Pila fountain and the former convent of Santo Domingo, which is now an art museum. A highlight is the Sumidero Canyon on the Grijalva River, where visitors can take a 3-hour boat tour through beautiful nature, caves, and see wildlife. The town celebrates La Fiesta Grande around January 23rd with dancing and is a great place to find souvenirs in local shops.
