The most popular and pleasant way of spending time for active and energetic
people is traveling. It is so interesting to discover new places and different cultures, to
explore different continents and countries. Traveling is the best way to change the atmosphere, to have a rest from everyday life and to get new emotions. If you’re thinking of visiting a country, you need to know some tips that will help you to adapt to country patterns. I’d like to give you some tips for visiting Spain. I’d like to start talking about Spanish people. When people meet, they tend to show their tolerance. Moreover, they are diplomatic and care-free most of the time. But when it comes to hanging out with friends, there are some things you should know in order not to disappoint your Spanish friend. To start with, you should remember that in Spain everyone pays for himself, especially in a restaurant. If you don’t want to upset your friend, just don’t try to pay for him – it’s considered bad manner to do this - in Spain that means that you underestimate your friend’s well- being. Secondly, you need to remember that the time-keeping in Spain isn’t perfect. Having said that, don’t be surprised if shops, government buildings and restaurants will be close when you come in them. They don’t usually open on time. Spaniards are always late and they have their own schedule. It’s perfectly acceptable to kiss your friend’s cheek instead of shaking hands – that’s typical greeting and goodbye gesture in Spain. During conversation maintain a friendly voice, direct eye contact and an arm’s length distance, because it’s a personal space of Spaniards. Furthermore, they’ll be pretty satisfied if you use their names. Thirdly, if your friend offers you to go for a meal to his house, don’t refuse even if you’re not hungry. Spaniards are the most generous people, and if you reject their act of kindness, they’ll be offended to the end of their lives. If you’re not used to it, it can seem strange at first. So, I can make a conclusion, that Spain is a country of a caring, good-natured and jolly people. However, it’s really worth country to visit, because of its beauty and atmosphere. Here you can find a lot of stunning views and places of interest. I hope my advices will help you and I believe that everyone will have an opportunity to go there.
