THE TRIPS

Some people consider traveling a waste of time and money, I do not. On the
contrary, I consider it one of the best experiences and investments we can make.

Traveling has never been so easy and cheap as now, and no matter how busy we
are there is always a space that we can use for a trip.

Now I will tell you many reasons why travel:

1. You enjoy life

When traveling, we discover and experience new things where we enjoy life
differently than we are used to.

I do not mean that you do not enjoy life when you are not traveling, or that you
have to travel to enjoy life, but it is true that when you travel you do things you do
not normally do.

On a trip:

Discover and taste food with new flavors and smells.

You enjoy different landscapes and the architecture and monuments of the place.

You can do outdoor activities that you have not done before, and you like them.

Being in a new place, which may not visit again in a long time, and may even
never, we "forced" to do many things, that living in that place surely would not do.
2. You know yourself better

Knowing oneself well is the key to being able to lead a happy life.

Because of daily tasks, occupations and routine, few people spend the time
necessary to create a connection with themselves.

Traveling is the perfect opportunity to do so because we disconnect from real-

world problems.

3. You value more what you have

Being away from home, away from certain amenities and people we love, makes
us appreciate them more when we return from the trip.

4. You grow as a person

Traveling to new places and facing only these challenges allows you to have new
skills and tools to survive, thus expanding your comfort zone, and growing as a
person.

5. Possible opportunities

When you travel to other places, you know people with another thought. Traveling
opens a new path for you, another way of thinking and acting from which you can
take advantage.
6. You learn languages

Nowadays, speaking other languages apart from the native language is almost
mandatory, especially if it is important for your professional progress.

Especially English, for being the language most used to conduct business and
transmit knowledge, and for communications between people of different
nationalities and languages.

In my concept and experience:

I really like to travel to other cities and towns in Colombia. One of my favorite
places here in my country is Medellín-Antioquia. I really like the development of
the city and its organization. His people are very helpful and good people. In
addition to being one of the most important cities in Colombia, it has many places
and many experiences to know and live.

Other places I like most in Colombia are San Andrés and Cartagena de Indias. I
love the sea and I love the atmosphere in these cities.

One of the trips that I like the most and that I remember the most is a cruise
through the Caribbean, where I met places like Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire and
Panama. It was one of the funniest experiences.

The experience in a cruise is very interesting because it is so big that you have
many things to do. The food is delicious, the atmosphere, the people who work
inside the boat with whom you can interact and who speak many languages.
You also have the opportunity to meet more people from different countries such
as Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, United States, Holland.

Next year I will travel to Spain to do an academic exchange with my University, I

am very anxious because it is something I have dreamed of for a long time.

In a future I aspire to know the snow, I would love it. It is a goal that I have at
least 2 years.

Encourage yourself to travel, you will not regret it.
