Letter Cube Notations
• A single letter by itself refers to a clockwise face rotation in 90 degrees

• A letter followed by an apostrophe means to turn that face counterclockwise 90 degrees

• A letter with the number 2 after it marks a double turn

• You will need this for the rest of your course so we are sharing this presentation with you . Make
Shure to write this down if you need to.

Basic 1st layer is to make you know how this works and then we'll teach
you about advanced method to complete the 1st layer.
