    Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui was born on March 18, 1738, in Cuzco, he was an elite curaca.

    Tupac Amaru II participated in a famous rebellion that began on November 4, 1780, so he

    became a famous person in the 18th century. The most important reason for this rebellion was

    the increase of taxes and an uprising against the Spanish authorities. He was condemned and

    executed on May 18, 1781, in the main square of Cuzco.
