BLOOM’S TAXONOMY

According to the paragraph Bloom's taxonomy is based on the idea that learning is a hierarchical process,
and an important tool for teachers that permit them to plan and evaluate their students' learning
effectively by considering the six categories that are remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing,
evaluating, creating. With them, teachers can ensure they are covering a wide variety of skills and enabling
students to develop. With the use of them we can develop the different skills in our students.

From the simplest to the complex process.

 First, remembering refers to the ability to recall facts or information. Teachers can use this
category to assess students' knowledge of a specific topic using multiple-choice or true-to-false
questions.
 Second, the understanding or comprehension category refers to the ability to understand the
meaning of information. Teachers can assess students' understanding through open-ended
questions.
 Third, the application category refers to the ability to use learned information in new or different
situations. Teachers can assess this skill through practical exercises.
 Fourth, the category of analysis refers to the ability to break down information into smaller parts
to understand how they relate to each other. Teachers can assess this skill through data analysis
exercises or critical tests.
 Fifth, the category of evaluating refers to the ability to combine various pieces of information to
create something new. Teachers can assess this skill through planning exercises.
 Finally, the creating is based on using what has been learned to build and develop new ideas or
on proposing solutions to day-to-day problems. I mean put into practice what we know to do
already.
