REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURES AND PRIOR ARTS

This chapter includes the review of different related

literatures and prior arts regarding the multifunctional

jacket.

Literatures

In the article Autex Research Journal 14 (1), 7-13,

2014 entitled "User Evaluation of the Waterproof Jacket by

Šterman S., it presents the key elements in understanding

the development and design of uniforms for the employees of

the Customs Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for

the purpose of corporate identity. It will show, in detail,

the process from design to analysis of evaluation data for

the multifunctional waterproof jacket, after three months of

wearing by the employees. The success of a corporate uniform

depends on how effectively it serves a specific function,

makes the organization recognizable in society and also on

the satisfaction level of the user. The results are

presented in four groups: First, the relationship between

design and communicating identity for recognition in the

market; Second, the determination of the pattern and

functionality considerations; Third, the selection of

materials and their properties; Last, the quality of

workmanship, giving practical value to the above parameters.

In the conduct of the Study on the benefit of

convertible jacket backpack (creative & innovative project)

can be a hassle to carry around an umbrella or an extra coat

all day just in case good weather turns to rain. This

backpack is a multi-purpose backpack that can transform into

a waterproof jacket. Our objectives for this product are to

reduce wastage of space when travelling and reduce the cost

of buying a separate jacket and backpack. This project

contains no material previously produced by other party

except where due references are made such as Google,

newspaper, YouTube, or any other innovation product. The

uniqueness of this backpack to compare with other backpack

is it can be transform into a jacket but our specialty for

this backpack is the material of the bag and jacket are

waterproof. This backpack also uses intelligent design to

defy pickpockets on your daily commute with enhanced safety

features which is hidden zip. Our backpack is good for

carrying stuffs for travelling, plenty of additional

belongings and easily portable. It also can carry a light

laptop and offers more room for other stuff. This model of

jacket backpack features a back protection panel, adjustable

waist straps, and a separate pouch in which the jacket is

stored. Of course, the only advantage that our product

offers over simply carrying a backpack and a lightweight

jacket, is the ease in which you pull out the jacket. With

the creative spirit and trendy design, we believe it can be

beneficial to everyone especially to young traveler.

Prior Arts

1. Reversible Water Resistant Garment

According to Marshall B., Reid B., Oxender J., and

Weitor B., the present invention generally relates to

garments, and more specifically to a reversible and water

resistant garment. A reversible and water resistant garment

includes a first side comprising a fabric layer and a second

side comprising a polymeric layer. The garment resembles a

cape and may comprise a hood, wherein the hood may be

integral with at least one of the two layers. The garment

may include one or more fasteners to secure the garment

closed. The garment has one or more openings for the wearer

to pass an arm through.

2. Multifunctional Jacket

The inventor 多 功 能 茄 2016 discloses a multifunctional

jacket comprising a jacket body and a smart device. The

jacket body is provided with a collar, a detachable hat and

a lining. The lining is provided with an invisible storage

pocket, and the jacket body can be folded and inversely

stored in the storage jacket to form a single-shoulder bag.

The detachable smart device is arranged in a cuff of the

jacket body. The smart device can be worn independently

after being detached. The multifunctional jacket is complete

in function, beautiful, practical, light, simple and smart,

can be used for carrying various belongings in an accurate

classification manner, can allow travel and business tracks

to be grasped all the time, can be changed into the single-

shoulder bag and is multipurpose, travel burden is

alleviated easily, and convenient travel and business

feeling of people is satisfied.

3. Multifunctional Jacket

The utility model discloses a multifunctional jacket.

The multifunctional jacket comprises a jacket body formed by

connecting a front part and a rear part, and sleeves,

wherein the sleeves and the jacket body are detachably

connected, and the rear part is longer than the front part;

a clothing cap is arranged at the bottom end of the rear

part; a folding mark line is arranged in the middle of the

rear part; the lower portion of the rear part is folded

along the folding mark line and then connected with the

upper portion of the rear part. When the multifunctional

jacket is worn, various special requirements can be met, and

the multifunctional jacket has the sun or rain blocking

function.

Synthesis

The combined conclusions of the following prior arts

are presented. (1) Reversible Water Resistant Garment.

According to Marshall B., Reid B., Oxender J., and Weitor

B., the present invention generally relates to garments, and

garment. Includes a first side comprising a fabric layer and

a second side comprising a polymeric layer, the garment may

(Claim) Multifunctional Jacket is a reversible garment

featuring sun protective leather fabric and water resistant

taffeta fabric. The jacket comprises zippers to secure that

the garment is closed. (2) The inventor 多 功 能 茄 , 2016

discloses a Multifunctional Jacket comprising a jacket body

can be folded and inversely stored in the storage jacket to

form a single-shoulder bag. (Claim) Multifunctional Jacket

body can be folded and stored in the form of chain sling

bag. (3) The utility model discloses a multifunctional

jacket. When the multifunctional jacket is worn, various

special requirements can be met, and the multifunctional

jacket has the sun or rain blocking function. (Claim)

Multifunctional Jacket is reversible and has basic functions

to meet the specification of water resistant protection for

rain and sunscreen.
