MOVING UP CEREMONY
Teacher Prince: Moving-up day is always a day of rejoicing because it symbolizes
the end of one phase of a man's quest for a better life and future and the start of
another, more unpredictable and tough phase.
T. Lievi: Truly, today signifies the culmination of years of hard work in the
relentless pursuit of knowledge: the knowledge that will enable us to embrace
opportunities and take on challenges with vision and purpose.

Teacher Sarah: To our beloved President of Gymnazo Christian
Academy, Pastor Rodolfo D. Pidlaoan, our guest speaker Rev. Evangeline Garcia,

grandparents, Gymnazians, friends, ladies and gentlemen. Good morning.

Teacher Prince: God's timing isn't always our timing; he may not work things out
the way we expected, but it's always for the best.

TS: This Covid19 pandemic has really changed everything about the world from
our basic routinely way of living to the celebration of big events has suddenly
shifted to a “New Normal”

TP: Today, our dear parents and their children who patiently waited, finally it’s
over.

TS: Gymnazo Christian Academy proudly presents its Moving up Ceremony

I. OPENING PRAYER
TP: Gymnazians, let us put ourselves in the Holy Presence of God, as we praise
and worship him.
May I call on Abigail M. Nepacena and Princess Chasse Jennisah S. Macatbag for
the reading of the Scriptural text.
Now, may I call on Gero F. Amistad to be followed by Mrs. Michelle Carpizo-
Torres as we praise and worship God.
Teacher Lievi: Now, may I call on our School President, Pastor Rodolfo D.
Pidlaoan to introduce to us our guest speaker.

Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to
be conducted by Mrs. Michelle Carpizo Torres.
II. NATIONAL ANTHEM.
TP: Please stand for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted
by Mrs. Manilyn Penuliar.
III. PLEDGE TO THE BIBLE
TS: Please remain standing for the pledge to the bible to be led by Jessica
Niles E. Descallar together with the bible bearer John Elijah D. Martinez.
IV. PLEDGE OF THE CHRISTIAN FLAG
TS: Please remain standing for the pledge to the Christian flag to be led by
Lhuis Cornel E. Mendoza.
TS: Thank you Jessica, Elijah and Lhuis.

V. WELCOME ADDRESS
TP: A great philosopher once said, “Success is no accident. It is hardwork,
perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love on what you are
doing or learning to do.”
That’s why right now, calls for a great celebration of your success.
And there are also people who were instruments in your success that we should
be thankful for this morning because they put you up and supported you
throughout this time.
TS: Members of Grade 6, Grade 5 and Grade 4 class, advisers, Faculty,
Administrator, ladies and gentlemen. Let us all welcome with a round of
applause our school principal MR. Jech Ruiz C. Pidlaoan for his welcome
address.

TS: Thank you so much Sir Jech Pidlaoan. Welcoming you here for this
morning’s event is indeed meaningful as we honor our completers and celebrate
their achievements.

VI. PRESENTATION OF COMPLETERS


TP: And now, let’s move on to the Presentation of candidates of
completers. Actually, moving up is a special time for our completers, who
completed their requirements.

TP: Now, may I call on Mr. Jojo C. Quibrantos, Grade 6 Adviser to


present the candidates for moving up.
VII. ACCEPTANCE AND CONFIRMATION
TS: To be followed by the confirmation and acceptance for moving up. To
be given by our well-respected school president, Pastor Rodolfo D. Pidlaoan

TS: Thank you so much Pastor, and congratulations our dear completers.

TS: We would like to thank the Administrators, faculty and staff, and
parents for their ever-undying support for our school. Let’s give them a round
of applause please.

TS: Of course, let us Thank God for guiding us, throughout this school
year and to those who deserve the most recognition are the kindergarten
completers. Let’s give them a thundering round of applause.

IX. DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES and X.


AWARDING OF MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES
T. Lievi: At this juncture, dear completers, the merit you have been waiting for
has finally come. You will receive your prizes diploma, medals and certificates
as a symbol of your success.
May I call on Mr. Prince Aldrey E. Salac for the distribution of
medals and certificates of Grade 4 School Year 2021-2022.

T: Lievi: May I call on all the Grade 4 learners to please come up the stage
for your class picture.
T: Lievi: Grade 4 learners, please stay on the stage for your dance
presentation.

TP: It has been said that the quality of person’s life is in direct proportion to his
or her commitment to his excellence, which results to the sweetest fruit of their
success, AWARDS.
TS: That ends the awarding of medals, certificates and diplomas. Once
again, let’s give them a round of applause. Congratulations everyone!
May we take this opportunity to thank everyone who unselfishly
cooperated and participated in any undertaking of this year’s Gymnazo
Christian Academy Moving-Up Ceremony.

TP: At this time, may I request the Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade learners
to say thank you for the undying love and support of your parents. You can hug
or kiss them as symbol of appreciation. Thank you, dear parents, for your
generosity.

XI. SPECIAL PRESENTATION


TS: At this juncture, shall we watch the completers for their special presentation
to be followed by the Grade 5 learners’ presentation.

TS: Thank you Grade 6 completers and Grade 5 learners for the amazing
presentation.

TP: You know what my dear Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade 6 learner, Teacher Lievi
really loves this part, she really loves dancing.

How about all of the teachers in Gymnazo Christian Academy?
Calling all the teachers in Gymnazo Christian Academy to please come up the
stage. Our learners want us to see dancing.
Don’t worry is our leader as we dance the “Million Reasons”.

XII. MESSAGE OF THANKS


TP: At this juncture, this is what we are waiting for, the highly emotional part.
May we now witness as we all join him for the message of thanks, Mary
Anthonette S. Omilio, Grade 6 completer, with high honors.

Thank you Anthonette. Take it from this, heartwarming and touching


message of thanks. As they reminded us that moving up is the end of one chapter
and the beginning of another. So, embrace his words and your future.

You know what Maam Lievi, this is one of the parts that I am really waiting
because my memories flashed back, to the time I am also delivering my speech,
my message of thanks during our graduation day when I was in Grade 6. That’s
why I really love this part.

XIII. THANK YOU SONG


TS: At this juncture, we should listen to the completer’s final song, which will
pay tribute to all who make this online learning successful. Let’s all sit back and
enjoy as we watch the completers perform to sing “Glowing Inside”

XIV. CLOSING REMARKS


TP: The closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities
await for our completers that will further test their mettle as improving individuals.
My dear completers, as you can continue your journey, may you look back
to this stage in your life with fondness and pride. May God fill your hearts with
love because that love will take you further in life.

TP: A philosopher once said, “Success is not a failure, failure is not fatal. But it
is the courage to continue that counts.”

Now, May I call on Maam Flordeliza C. Pidlaoan for an important announcement.
