Fitting in those gross and hilarious faces in what is one of the

most exciting and badass chapters thus far is what makes
One Piece the best ever.

Going to be an epic battle. But I'd still feel like Oda is rushing
it just a little if they come out on top. It seems too quick to go
from being one-shotted to winning with just a short amount of
training, from a writing standpoint. But with the whole team
behind him, they should at least pose a decent challenge,
enough to at least save Wano's capital from destruction.
Which from this chapter it seem the direction Oda is going,
since Kaido was able to tank most of those big attacks from
all of them.

With that in mind, do you recall Water Seven and Ennies

Lobby? It was barely a day, but everyone in the crew
powered it like so much. Luffy and Zoro got destroyed by
Lucci in seconds, but then come later and motivation
thanks to Robin, they were able to overpower them with
little training, and random power ups. In this case there
was at least 2 weeks of training from what i recall, since
the raid in the flower capital was happening 2 weeks after
Luffy got imprisoned. So following the Rules established in
this verse in terms of strength, everyone there is by all
rights capable of at least surviving a couple more minutes
with the Yonko. Don't know about defeating them, but it
seems that they can put up a fight now. So it makes sense
for me, and also since it was basically a 15 v 2.

Why do people still think Luffy growing significantly

stronger during a single arc is something new? He did it
during Alabasta and it was the same in Water7/Enies
Lobby. And in both of those arcs he did not even train. In
Wano he at least got training from a haki master!
Sometimes I ask myself if you people have goldfish
memory...

And the advanced armament haki is all what luffy need to

pierced through their tough body afterall. Luffy just need
the focus to put up his serious fight, something that
actually missing on their first encounter.

look at it from this way, there are at least 15 fighters that

are involved in killing Kaidou. Its not personal. Its not
gonna take a supreme attack to do him in, it'll take many
many MANY severe attacks to hit it home which is evident
given the efforts of the Scabbards and now the
Supernovas are taking the wheel after those guys ran
outta gas.
