Books that have personal meaning are useful for learning new words and object-picture relationships. Please
make a book for your child using the paper squares that were provided in the envelope. Feel free to add
more squares if you would like.

Here are some things to keep in mind when making the book:

• Use pictures that are meaningful and familiar to your child.


• You may want to use photographs, stickers, pictures from magazines or store circulars, or line
drawings.
• Add print to each page by labeling the pictures and/or describing what is happening in the pictures.

Topics for the book might include:

Family Birthday party Textures Favorite routine

Friends Recent vacation Favorite things Favorite song


Share an example of how you and your child played this week:
