PROJECTS
Priceline (https://www.priceline.com/)
Worked on the frontend and backend as a full stack developer.
SOLUTION
• Priceline is a global booking & travel enterprise that wanted to build itself as a next-generation leader
• Worked with the Priceline.com product development and design team to create the Flight Finder API, a first-of-its-
kind in the travel industry. The Flight Finder application allowed users to search and book flights.
CHALLENGES
• Develop a website with a greater focus on customer experience
• Increase engagement and conversions through personalization
• Improve understanding of customers, considering decreasing in-person interactions
• Appeal to different customer needs by marketing various aspects of services with valid RTB’s
• Develop greater understanding of the sales funnel and what content encourages sales
• Consolidate multiple systems and microsites to develop a seamless and standardized brand experience and user
journey
• Create the missing user journey and brand story
EXPERIENCE
• By arranging the reusable templates and components in different combinations, the publishing team has the
flexibility to make pages for any type of content while still maintaining branding and consistency across pages. The
templates even support responsive design for optimized display across all platforms, from desktops to mobile devices.
• Content can now be updated with ease, an important factor because Priceline often publishes time-sensitive
information.
Thinkfull (https://www.thinkful.com/)
Thinkful, a career accelerator education company, focuses on matching continuing education students with mentors
that are industry experts, leading the student to have true one-on-one learning. Thinkful wanted a partner to evaluate
their current admissions process and flow by providing them with an on-site Product Owner for 5 weeks.
SOLUTION
• Provided strategic consulting into areas of enhancement
• Generated a data model for future product
• Created a proposed feature list for discussion and prioritization for the key stakeholders
• Recommended building a framework for a product that will support the admissions counselors and speed up the
admission team
• Produced insights into areas of efficiency
CHALLENGES
The client had two primary challenges: a backlog of applications and a desire to better understand, and ultimately
improve, their admissions process. Through conversations with the client, it made sense to incorporate staff
augmentation to help the client best inform and advice on a final product solution.
Experience
• Integrated Customer Profile
• Automated Personalization
• Rules-based Targeting
• A/B Testing
• Multivariate Testing
• Adobe Experience Manager
• Sites
• Assets
• Marketing Reports and Analytics
CHALLENGES
• Creating a single source of truth for the healthcare company’s digital assets
• Costs were high and the time to make changes to Assets & Sites was taking far too long
EXPERIENCE
The first step in this engagement was gathering an understanding of DRI’s current workflow and where the existing
system was falling short. By conducting several rounds of stakeholder interviews and augmenting that data with a
company-wide survey, as well as in-depth competitor analysis, established a baseline for the design team.
Our architectural approach was a service-oriented architecture, beginning with API and Database setup, and leveraging
the .NET framework with Blazor. The front-end look and feel was developed with Blazor as a base, and extended to
cover custom visualizations as needed.
CHALLENGE
The major challenge was the cost of creating new websites and visual aids. They were too slow in getting to the market
for these websites, and the overall cost of Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) reviews continued to go up. Something had
to change.
RESULTS
The client quickly realized the savings both in time and cost.
The plan based on the results now call for an early 2019 deployment to its global environment. Conservative estimates
for savings are up to $200,000 per website per year.
The MLR process will be more streamlined and efficient.
HMH (https://www.hmhco.com)
SOLUTION
• React, Node.js
Navigation system for HMH main website to organize and optimize the 30 disparate websites underneath the HMHco
umbrella, allowing a simplified user experience.
CHALLENGES
• Redesigning the homepage
• Reorganizing the product pages with a clean and constant navigation system.
