a few years ago, when the pandemic started my parents bought me my laptop with a lot of

effort so that I could study and that gave me a lot of joy because before the pandemic started,
I wanted a laptop and when I used it I could learn many interesting things but also with the
passing of time I realized that all excess can hurt you.

to start with people having a laptop can be very useful because it can be used for different
things, you can save your files like photos, videos or office files, you can do your work in an
innovative way using web sites like “Canva” or “Lucidchart”, the first one helps you to create
decorative slides, brochures, etc., while the other one is a diagramming tool that can be used
to create concept maps, also you can use it recreationally, so you can watch videos either of
your favorite artists or favorite youtubers, you can also play video games like left 4 dead.
However, the frequent use of our laptop can lead to dependence on it and this results in
compulsive behavior with the people around us, as well as having many message alerts, which
can diminish our concentration on the outside world, and constantly sending messages can
also stress us out.

in summary I can say that it has good benefits to use a laptop however the temptation to be
constantly on the laptop can make us compulsive so one has to be conscious to wean myself
away from laptop and be disciplined like making a schedule so as not to abuse the time on it.
