Some of socio-economic consequences of the pandemic for Russia in the 2021 report,

unemployment rose by 60%, households income declined by 50% and small and medium-sized
business problems 50%, due to closure of enterprises 8% of working people had to change their
professional field.
 GDP grew by 4.8% in 2019
 Household consumer spending rose by 4.3% in 2018
 Real monthly salaries +0.8% y-o-y in 2016, +2.9% y-o-y in 2019
 Unemployment rate declined 4.6% in 2019
 As of March 2020, 5.96 mln SMIs which employed over 15 mln people operated in
Russia. They accounted for 20.2% of Russia’s GDP in 2018.
