Topic - People you study/work with:

Q. Who do you spend most time studying/working with? [Why?]

Currently, I’m working in a small company which has total 5 people in there. We
work in a office so we have to meet each other everyday. Frank speaking, I consider them
as my second family.
Q. What kinds of things do you study/work on with other people? [Why?]

Q. Are there times when you study/work better by yourself? [Why/Why not?]

Cause accounting requires the focus and carefulness so I would work better by
myself. Beside, working by myself help me plan a study schedule that works best for me
and take breaks when I please.

Q. Is it important to like the people you study/work with? [Why/Why not?]

Well, personally, I think that in a work environment where we have friendly and
helpful colleagues, we cannot go on for a long. We spend about 8 – 10 hours per day in
our workplace, so it is imperative that we are surrounded by the people we like to work
with and respect each other.
Topic - Flowers and plants:
Q. Do you have a favourite flower or plant? [Why/Why not?]

Absolutely, yes, sunflower is my favorite flower simple because its field in full
blossom is gorgous spectacular. Beside, it is also symbol of positive and optimistic,
always facing towards the sun.
Q. What kinds of flowers and plants grow near where you live? [Why/Why not?] 

My hometown has a wide variety of flowers. A few common flowers that grown is
lotuses, orchilds, roses,… many plants also grow well including mango tree, guava tree,
coconut tree,… I believe that it has something to do with the local weather and soil that
favour those trees and flowers to grow in plenty in our area.
Q. Is it important to you to have flowers and plants in your home? [Why/Why not?]

Personally, I believe that a house without some plants and flowers look empty.
And yes, having plant or flowers is an absolute necessity not only for aesthetic reasons
but also for environmental reason.
Q. Have you ever bought flowers for someone else? [Why/Why not?]

Of course, yes, a few weeks ago, my brother graduated from college and I bough
some flower to congratulate. Beside, I also bring flower whenever I visit a sick relative or
friend at the hospital. I believe flowers are quite suitable gifts on such occations and
convey the very best of wishes and are meant to bring good luck.

Topic - Food and cooking:

Q. What sorts of food do you like eating most? [Why?]

I mostly like to eat traditional food and anything that is healthy. From this regard,
I prefer homemade food over fast food items. Some of my favourite food items are fruits,
fish, bread, vegetables…
Q. Who normally does the cooking in your home?

My mother is in charge of cooking at our home simply because she is one of the
best cooks personally know about and she knows how important it is for her to ensure a
healthy meal for the family. I believe this is the reason she cook for all of us.
Q. Do you watch cookery programmes on TV? [Why/Why not?]

Not much, I would say that. I am not a big fan of T.V programmes and mostly
watch movies on my smartphone. But I know a famous cookery programme which has
name “Master Chef”. Sometime I watch a short cut of its.
Q. In general, do you prefer eating out or eating at home? [Why?]

I like eat at home. Homemade food has better food value and offers a wide range
of choice. It is more hygenic and less expensive. However, we like to eat at a restaurant
whenever we have special occasions to celebrate. We often go to an eatery on accasions
like birthday or ceremony.

Topic - Giving gifts:

Q. When do people give gifts or presents in your country?

Absolutely, we often give gift on a specially day like a bithday, a wedding

ceremony or on anniversary day. People buy gifts for a classmates, colleagues and
teachers on their farewell day. Beside, I also often buy candies to children and flowers to
our relatives whenever I visit their house.
Q. Do you ever take a gift when you visit someone in their home? [Why/Why not?]

Of course, I most often buy a gift such an occasion. I do it as it is a broadly

followed convention in our country, and the idea of giving a host some sort of gifts is
exciting, especially when the host love the gift. Beside, it’s a taken of appreciation and a
good gesture as a guest.
Q. When did you last receive a gift? [What was it?]

Well, a few weeks ago, a colleagues gave me a gift. She had a holiday in Sam Son
beach and after she returned, she gave me a handbag. It’s very cute and I really appreciate
her gift.
Q. Do you enjoy looking for gifts for people? [Why/Why not?]

Yes, most of the time I love to browse different shop to find a suitable gift for
someone I care for. Finding a suitable gift idea and then getting the item can be time-
consuming, but it represents our care and love for the person we are presenting the gift. If
the person like the present, the time we spend to find it worths every second of it.
