Letter to the Reader

Dear Reader,

The origins and evolution of baking was an adventure to learn about and
explore as I researched it. I traveled through the ancient world to learn about
the origins of baking. Then I explored Ancient Rome in order to learn more
about the evolution and social class of baking. Finally, I came back to modern
times in Europe to find out how baking has come to be as it is today.

Throughout my research, I didn’t find many names or groups that were

specifically involved in the evolution of baking. If I were to do this project again,
I would definitely try to find more people who were involved closely with the
innovation and evolution of baking throughout history. Throughout this research
project, I have learned things I never would have learned or explored more. For
example, I never would have discovered that ancient tribes often used mustard
seeds to season their baked goods. All these little tiny facts helped me provide
fun and interesting facts and research for readers.

All in all, this project has taught me a lot, and I don’t wish I had chosen a
different subject at all. I am proud of the extensive research that I have gone
through to get to the conclusions I have, and I hope when you, the reader, read
over my project, you see the amount of dedication and hard work I put into the
products and the research itself.

Sincerely,
Liam Brown
