FOURTH ORAL EXAMINATION

(MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE, ENGLISH, CIVICS AND CULTURE, AND FILIPINO)

Questions:
A fiesta is a time of public entertainment and parties, usually on a special
religious holiday. Bryan and Pauline attend Alaminos, Pangasinan’s town fiesta. During
their visit, they observed many food stalls selling various drinks such as milk tea and
gulaman. They were also able to sample some of the town's finest delights, such as
longganisa and grilled talaba. Each of them ate 10 pieces of talaba. Find the number of
pieces of talaba they ate altogether. How did you get the answer to the problem? Based
on the given scenario, what celebration was mentioned above? Describe how the
people in your community celebrate it. What three (3) possible traditions are you going
to practice as you celebrate the occasion mentioned above? How are you going to do
it? Aside from the products indicated in the situation above, provide other examples of
four (4) solid, four (4) liquid, and four (4) gas items or foods present during fiestas. Why
do we need to capitalize words? Give five (5) capitalized terms from your answers and
explain why they were capitalized. Answer in 10-14 sentences only.

Answer:
Bryan and Pauline ate 20 pieces of talaba in all. Each of them has eaten 10
pieces of talaba so I multiplied the number of pieces of it which is ten (10) to the number
of people that ate which is two (2), ten times two is equal to 20 (10 x 2 = 20). The
celebration mentioned in the scenario was fiesta. In our community, people would
celebrate it by attending mass in the church, prepare foods and some activities. The
three (3) possible traditions that I am going to practice as I celebrate fiesta are
bayanihan, hospitality, and respect for one another. I will practice bayanihan by helping
in preparing the food, I will observe hospitality by greeting the visitors and preparing
food for them. I will practice respect for one another by using “po” and “opo” whenever I
speak to the visitors. The four (4) solid items that are present during fiestas are
banderitas, tables, roasted pigs, and plates. Juice, water, soda, and beer are four (4)
examples of liquid that are present during fiestas and the four (4) examples of gas that
are present during fiestas are smoke, fumes, oxygen and carbon dioxide. We need to
capitalize words because this serves as useful signal. The five (5) capitalized terms
from my answer are I, Bryan, Pauline, juice and each. I was capitalized because it is a
pronoun, Bryan and Pauline were capitalized because these are specific names of
person. Juice and each were capitalized because these are at the beginning of a
sentence.
FILIPINO

TANONG:

Bangus Festival at Pista’y Dayat.
lokal at masagana. Ang dalawa at pangunahin ay pang-uring pamilang. Ang lokal at
masagana ay halimbawa ng pang-uring panlarawan.
