SMARTVIEW D2

Guide
Smartview is the Documentum D2 new version. It features
an enhanced tile-based user interface, that helps users find
and interact with content easily.
Document management
Starting screen Context menu
On the home page you will find the “Search”, “Repository” and “Checkout” To manage documents in Smartview, we must rest the mouse
boxes, and you can also browse to quickly find your documents in pointer on them and a context menu will be displayed with
"Recently Accessed", with the latest documents you worked with, and different options: Properties, Copy link to clipboard, Share, Edit and
"Favorites", where you will find files that you have previously starred. More actions.
Import files

To import files into Smartview:

1 Enter “Browse Repository” or “Home Repository”.

2 Open the folder where you want to host the file.

Select the + in the upper left margin, and choose


3 “Import documents”.

4 Drag and drop the document you want to import,


or select it by clicking +.
Edit properties
To change a file attributes, in the context menu:

1 Enter “Browse Repository” or “Home Repository”. 2 Click on "Edit" in the upper right margin.

3 Edit the attributes and select "Save".


Edit documents
To edit documents, you need to download them and then update the version.

When you finish editing it, add the new version by dragging and dropping the document on

Search documents
