Growing up, I always love to learn new things especially related in hospitality industry. I consider myself as a
friendly and an easy-going person who love to help people in need which is why I already know my future
career is managing a hospitality industry. I realized communication is the most important part to understanding
people. Because of it I also passionate to learn new languages other than my native language to improve my
skills. I am a bilingual person and I can speak three languages which are Bahasa Indonesia, English, and
Mandarin. With all the soft skills and hard skills I have learnt, I consider myself as a competitive student and
high quality person.

By enrolling in Daegu Catholic University, I can get a new chance to explore more about different people and
culture. I also have a chance to learn about hospitality procedure as my main goal. With all the study program
Daegu Catholic University has offered, I believe I can improve my knowledge and skills. I believe by studying
abroad and explore outside from your comfort zone, make us more understand about different culture and
people’s perspective

Lastly my final goals after I finished my study program in Daegu Catholic University is to share the
knowledge to the people around me and to build a stronger connection with the people around the world. I

My name is Cecilia Marcelyn Sit and I am 20 years old. I lived in Bali, Indonesia and
currently I am a college student majoring in Hospitality Management. I like to explore my
creativity during my free time by crocheting, painting, and baking. I am an easy-going
person and I like to make new friends. I like to explore new things since a very young age
and I have high curiosity.

During my studies I have joined training session in Sales and marketing department for 6
months at Marriott Company and I have joined other campus’s organization. I am fluent in
3 languages which are Indonesian, English, and Mandarin. I also love doing social
organization around my place where I’m living like doing beach cleaning, blood donation,
etc.
