A car pulls over by the gate at Nomai's place. NOMAI picks up
her bag off the car floor.
NOMAI
Thanks so much for the usual lift
my music director. I wonder how I
would have been managing the long
walk from church if you were not
staying near by.
ESAU
Don't mention, its fine. What are
brothers in Christ for?
NOMAI
Amen. brother Esau today's choir
rehearsals were awesome. I love the
words of the song you introduced
today. Indeed if only us who stand
in front of the church singing or
preaching could lead by example in
being the sermon even in our daily
life styles outside church, we

ESAU

guys impressed me today especially
the Tenor guys they were so quick
to learn .
NOMAI

She comes out of the car and the car engine starts. As she
walks a few steps away, she remembers something and rushes

Nomai is seated on some pillars and she is on phone.

at the singing rehearsals
tomorrow/ coz I wont be in
school tomorrow I don't have

come and pick you up on my
way from Nortec so that we go
home together and get the
book is that okay?
NOMAI  
Yes that's fine. Thanks I  
will be waiting.

EXT. ESAU'S HOUSE-DAY

Car parks, Naomi and Esau come out and heads to the flat
door. Esau unlocks the door.
NOMAI
Your house mate Brother Dizim is
not home yet? He didn't even attend
Tuesday rehearsals. Is he okay?

INT. ESAU'S FLAT-DAY

ESAU
Coming please, aa! Dizim is not
around he went to kabwe on Monday.
He should be coming back tomorrow.

Esau turns on the TV/Laptop and secular music video plays as
he leaves Nomai and goes to his bedroom. Nomai is surprised

and go home now I have not come to
visit I just came to collect the

the same time shepherdess .the past
2 days I couldn't go to school ,I

NOMAI
I think , ah I dont know bana
pastor. I was not even dressed
badly, I was in a very long dress

another story .Rape is a crime with
a mandatory minimum sentence of 15
years imprisonment. But since he

counselling so that he doesn't
attempt to do the same on another
woman. This is just my personal
decision to forgive him.

Jesus says: "Settle matters quickly
with your adversary who is taking
you to court. Do it while you are
still together on the way, or your
adversary may hand you over to the
judge, and the judge may hand you
over to the officer, and you may be
thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell
you, you will not get out until you
have paid the last penny.
NOMAI
That's the scripture that I
remembered when going home that
day. And if he didn't call to
apologize I would have gone
straight to the police to report
him.

to exercise self control where
asexual desires are concerned

because even females can rape
fellow females. There is so much
wickedness. may God help us survive
attacks in these end times.
