iQ Auto Plus Firmware Update Procedure

A standard USB cable (Type A to Type B) is typically used for the update procedure. Connect it
between the PC and the generator’s USB port.

If the iQ Commander application has not been installed, get it from the ftp site and install it.

Firmware Update Instructions:

1. Power up the generator.

2. Double-click the iQ Commander icon, located on the desktop, to open the application.
3. If a Close button is shown, proceed to step 5.
4. Click the “Connect” button and the application will communicate with the generator.
5. Click on the “Firmware Update” tab.
6. Click on the “Select File” button.
7. Select the firmware update file (IQ_ATP_APP_20200918a_v4r05r05.hex) and click Open.
8. Click on the “Update” button.
9. When the progress bar has completed, the update process is finished.
