Speaking and writing practice

Now it’s time to practise writing and speaking! With a friend, try to
finish these sentences with your own ideas. When there is a sentence
with you, see if you can guess what your partner would say!

Example
Sentences with ‘I’: If I had studied drama, I’d have been an actor!

Sentences with ‘you’:

actor.

TIP: To make it more exciting, give 1 lie about yourself and see if
your friend can guess which sentence is not true!

Remember to pay attention to punctuation when writing and


contractions of would when speaking!
