DSPOLM LECTORS MINISTRY MINUTES OF THE MEETING

FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2023

 Date of Monthly Meeting : March 5,2023 @ Marian Hall

 Number of Attendees: 58 out of 79
 Meeting started at 1:30 in the afternoon. After the opening prayer,
minutes of the meeting was discussed by the secretary.
 Activities for the month of March were discussed by our coordinator.
Activities are as follows:
 March 3 – FIRST FRIDAY TEACHING at 7 PM followed by vigil, STATION OF
THE CROSS at 3 PM.
 March 4 – MOTORCADE PROCESSION
 March 10,17,24,31 – STATIONS OF THE CROSS EVERY FRIDAY AT 3 PM.
Lecom to participate by their groupings.
 KUBOL STATIONS DURING PALM SUNDAY – during the meeting it was
discussed who will be the lectors assigned in each kubol. There are a
total of 4 Kubol stations.
 March 20- Monday, Solemnity of St. Joseph. There will be triduum mass
from March 17 to 19 at 4pm followed by motorcade.
 March 25 – Saturday, Annunciation of the Lord
 During the meeting, March ordinary days and Sunday list of servers were
filled up especially on services still needing lectors.
 Fr. Rino also attended the meeting.
 Palm Sunday list of servers were also discussed. Sis. Fely reiterated that
it is important especially for the male lectors to be able to attend the
 practice for the Palm Sunday Reading Dramatization as most dialogues
belong to the male characters. It was agreed that male lectors will be
grouped into two, one to serve in the morning mass from 5AM to 12 PM
and the other group to serve in the afternoon mass up to the last mass.
Date of practice to be announced in the messenger group.
 March 31 – Lenten Recollection after last mass.
 Election of new set of officers were observed during this meeting. Refer

 Holy Week activities were also discussed in general. List of servers from
Maundy Thursday to Easter Vigil (Saturday) were also mentioned. (The
list to be updated in the next monthly meeting as there might be
changes from original list)
 PYM lectors will be trained on a one on one basis to be able to help them
improve as far as being a lector is concerned.
 Birthday Celebrants were mentioned after which the food was blessed.
Meeting adjourned at around 3 in the afternoon.

