Teeny-Tiny Popsicles

You will need:

- Small amount of worsted weight yarn in light brown (stick)

- Worsted weight yarn in various colours for popsicle

- 3.25mm double-pointed needles

- Small amount of polyfil

- Yarn needle

Finished size is approximately 2 inches long.

Gauge is not important for this pattern; just ensure that the stitches are tight enough
so the polyfil is not visible.

Pattern starts here:

Popsicle:

Cast on 6sts and share between 3 dpns.

1. (kfb in next 2sts, k1)x2 (10)

2. (K2, kfb in next 2sts) x2, k2 (14)

3. Knit 8 rows.

BO 14sts. Set aside to seam up later.

Stick:

Cast on 3sts on 1 dpn.

1. Knit in i-cord for 8 rows.

Break yarn, and pull through remaining sts.

Assembly:
Position stick inside the “pocket” formed by the popsicle part. Stuff lightly, and seam
the bottom edges closed, leaving a length of 1 ½ cm for the stick. If you want to, you
can embroider a face. Hide in any loose ends, and you have your own tiny popsicle!

Abbreviations:
- dpns (double pointed needles)

- k (knit)

- st/s (stitch/es)

- kfb (knit into the front and back of stitch)

- BO (bind off)
