POST FOR THE

VICE CHAIRMAN
Gilgit Baltistan Board of Investment and trade is a government entity with the purpose to
promote, encourage assist and facilitate investors in the Gilgit-Baltistan and coordinate
with all department of federal government, the government of Gilgit-Baltistan and other
strategic stake holders from public and private sectors for investment friendly policy
reforms and sustainable economic growth.
The Department of Industries, Labour & Commerce /Gilgit Baltistan Board of Investment
& Trade (GBBOI&T) is looking for a competent self-motivated and a dynamic candidate
from Gilgit Baltistan to fill the position of Vice Chairman (honorary) GBBOI&T for a
period of two years

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION.

Master’s degree / MBA, MSc. Economic, MPA, Development planning, Project

Management from HEC- recognized University. Foreign qualification form a reputed
university will be adding an advantage.

EXPERIENCE.

 Minimum 15 years’ experience in policy making and policy implementation skills

 Minimum 10 year experience in management IT tools & Technique for planning,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
 Minimum 10 year experience in organizational management, co-ordination and
facilitation.
AGE LIMIT. Up to 50 years
NON ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS.

No candidate will be eligible, if he

 is of unsound mind:
 is a defaulter of any financial institution of federal or Provincial Government:
 has applied to be adjudicated as an insolvent and his application is pending:
 has been convicted by a any Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude:
 Has been debarred from holding any office under any provision of Law or has conflict of interest
with such position.
 Candidates possessing the required qualification and experience are eligible to apply. Only short
listed candidates shall be called for test & interview.
 No TA/DA is admissible during test & Interview.
