Subject: Request for Team Building Session at Stella Maris as an Alternative for Final Examination

Dear Ma'am Danica Suba Barin,

consideration for an alternative assessment method for the final examination in Recreation and Leisure
Management. As an alternative, I propose a team building session at Stella Maris.

Considering the importance of team building in our field, I believe that a practical exercise such as a
team building session would provide us with a more comprehensive understanding of the principles and
practices we have studied throughout the semester. Stella Maris, renowned for its exceptional facilities
and serene environment, would serve as an ideal venue for such an activity.

Here are the reasons why I believe a team building session at Stella Maris would be beneficial:

Practical Application: A team building session will enable us to apply the theoretical knowledge we have
gained throughout the course in a real-life setting. This practical experience will enhance our
understanding of the concepts and help us develop essential skills for our future careers.

Team Collaboration: As team building is centered around fostering effective teamwork and
communication, this session will allow us to enhance our collaboration skills and strengthen
relationships within our class. These skills are crucial for success in the field of Recreation and Leisure
Management.
Stress Relief and Motivation: The end of the semester is often a stressful period for students due to final
exams. A team building session at Stella Maris will provide a refreshing break from the academic
pressure, rejuvenate our minds, and motivate us to perform better in our studies.

I understand the importance of assessments in evaluating our knowledge and skills. Therefore, I propose
that the team building session be designed in a way that aligns with the course objectives and can be
evaluated based on specific criteria, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.

I kindly request that you consider this proposal . I am confident that incorporating a team building
session as an alternative to the final examination will greatly benefit our learning outcomes.
